On November 21, 2025, students from Korea University’s Graduate School of International Studies visited the Embassy of Slovenia for an open discussion with Ambassador Jernej Müller. The session provided an opportunity for direct dialogue on Slovenia’s national approach to sustainable development and environmental policy, highlighting how sustainability is embedded not only in government strategies but also in everyday life.

During the discussion, Ambassador Müller shared concrete examples of Slovenia’s environmental priorities, illustrating how policy frameworks translate into practical actions at the community level. Students were particularly engaged by the emphasis on local participation, noting how communities actively support environmentally friendly practices and incorporate sustainability into daily routines. The visit offered valuable insights into the connection between environmental policy, civic engagement, and lived experience, enriching students’ understanding of sustainability from a real-world, diplomatic perspective.
