Held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the EU Delegation to Korea and the Embassy of Finland in Korea, the event brought together Korea University graduate students and Taewon High School students and teachers. The 2025 KU JMCE Special Lecture was a half-day academic exchange co-hosted by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Korea University (KU JMCE) and Taewon High School, with support from the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
The program focused on Korea–EU relations and international organizations, offering students a firsthand opportunity to engage with European diplomatic institutions. Through special lectures, institutional visits, and a structured Q&A session, participants explored key contemporary issues such as EU foreign policy, security, economic challenges, environmental policy, and the role of international organizations in global governance. The event aimed to deepen students’ understanding of international relations while fostering dialogue between university-level scholars and high school students interested in global affairs.
