On November 13, 2024, the Youth Delegation from the Hanns Seidel Foundation visited the Jean Monnet EU Centre of Excellence (JMCE) at Korea University. After a warm welcome from JMCE Director Professor Jae-Seung Lee, he provided the youth delegation, as well as attending Korea University students, with an insightful overview of the Centre’s mission, its ongoing research projects, and its broader efforts to strengthen EU–Korea academic cooperation.

Representatives of the Hanns Seidel Foundation also used the opportunity to introduce their organization’s activities, highlighting their work in political education, international cooperation, and youth engagement. Their presentation offered students a valuable look into the Foundation’s global initiatives.

The event took place in Room 210 of the International Studies Hall. Throughout the session, participants engaged in thoughtful conversations, shared ideas, and explored potential opportunities for future collaboration. Students and faculty members alike were able to make new connections.

The visit was as an excellent platform for networking and mutual learning.
