On November 20th, KU Nordic-Benelux Center hosted a special lecture titled, "EU's Science and Technology Policy and Korea-EU Cooperation" with KU Nordic-Benelux Centre. Tomas Wierzbowski, a political scientist representing EURAXESS Korea, presented his view on Korea-EU cooperation in science and technology. Mainly, He stressed the significance of the Horizon 2020 initiative for Korea-EU cooperation in science, including nano and biotechnology. In the latter part of his lecture, Dr. Wierzbowski offered an information session for studying abroad in Europe. EURAXESS has been a channel for jobs, post-doctoral, and funding programs, providing bountiful opportunities for young scholars seeking their careers in Europe. The speaker gave detailed guidance and advice for students planning to study in Europe. After the lecture, a lively Q&A session followed. Despite the deteriorating pandemic, many students participated and exchanged their opinions on the topic issue.
